Sites
A workspace brings your websites together. Here is how to add sites, order them and change their settings.
Workspaces and sites
- A workspace holds as many websites as you like (“Websites: Unlimited”) and your team members.
- One account can belong to several workspaces. Switch between them with the workspace menu in the sidebar (Workspaces), and create another one with Add Workspace.
- You create your first workspace during onboarding. It only needs a name, 1 to 100 characters.
Add a site
Click Add Site in the sidebar and enter your domain in the Domain field.
- Enter only the hostname, for example
example.com: nohttps://, no path, no port, no IP address, and with a valid ending (TLD). - A leading
www.is removed automatically. A subdomain such asblog.example.comis its own site with its own domain. - A domain can only be added once per workspace. If it already exists, the app shows an error.
- Only workspace admins can add sites, and the workspace needs access: an active plan or a running trial (see Billing and plans).
After you add the site, the app shows the snippet. See Quick start.
Site overview and order
The workspace overview shows all sites as cards with a small chart (pageviews and unique visitors) and the same comparison values as the dashboard.
With Customize you arrange the sites by drag and drop. The order also applies in the sidebar. It is only saved when you confirm (“Order saved.”).
Site settings
Each site has its own settings with these sections:
- Installation – the snippet to copy (Quick start).
- Timezone – determines how days and hours are grouped in the analytics, for example for Today and the daily charts (Metrics and filters).
- Tracking Settings – the tracking mode and the switches for Browser, Operating System, Device Type and Country (Tracking modes, Data collection).
- Privacy – a text block for your privacy policy and the consent integration (Consent).
- Public dashboard – share the dashboard with a link (Share your dashboard).
- Delete Site – permanently deletes the site with all collected events. To confirm, you enter the domain.
Only admins can change settings, and only while the workspace has access. Otherwise the settings are visible but locked.
Workspace settings
Under Workspace Settings (admins only) you manage members and invitations (Team and roles) and find the Danger Zone with Delete Workspace. That permanently deletes the workspace with all its sites and their events. To confirm, you enter the workspace name.
The workspace owner can’t be removed and always stays an admin.
